Seminole Confederacy

The Seminole Confederacy was made through a process of ethnogenesis by various aboriginal American groups - predominately Northern Muscogee/Creek peoples, who migrated from Georgia and Alabama into Florida where the Spanish had built a strong military contingent.

The original name of the Muscogee Creek Moors is Mvskoke (pronounced mus-KOH-gee), which translates to the Muscogee people.
